Mezzanine investment in Swedish EnvirotainerEqvitec Mezzanine Fund III (under the name change to Armada Mezzanine Fund III) has provided a mezzanine loan for the acquisition of Swedish Envirotainer by AAC Capital Partners and the company's management team. Envirotainer is the world leader in temperature controlled logistics for the pharmaceutical industry, previously owned by Industrifonden and a number of private investors. The investment is Eqvitec Mezzanine Fund III's second initial investment.
Envirotainer designs, manufactures and rents specialist air cargo containers for the transportation of temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals. Headquartered in Lagga, Sweden, the business has grown substantially to form a strong worldwide presence since it was first established in 1984. Today, the business covers the major trade routes for biological pharmaceuticals, with service hubs in 26 countries and sales of around €31 million.
